We have rolled out several enhancements to our web and mobile apps throughout the second quarter of 2023. These updates are designed to provide an improved user experience, making it easier for you to trade digital assets seamlessly. Here's a closer look at what you can expect from the latest Bitbuy updates.
The new Top Gainers & Dippers feature provides insights into the biggest movers in the digital asset market over the past 24 hours. It doesn't matter if it's a red or green day; we'll always highlight the six top-performing assets based on their percentage price change.
Clicking on a top gainer or dipper on the Accounts screen will take you straight to the Express Trade screen with the asset selected for quick trading. This feature is also integrated into the Asset Selector in Express Trade, All Assets, and Asset Details screens for easy access.
The Buy Again feature is currently available on the web app (with mobile coming soon!) and enables users to quickly repeat purchases of their favorite assets. If you've previously made a buy order of $5,000 or less, up to three of these orders will be displayed as quick buy options on the Accounts screen.
Clicking on a Buy Again option will take you to the Express Trade screen with the asset and amount pre-populated for fast trading. You can also find this feature on the History page where an additional column will display a Buy Again option for any past buys. Additionally, in Express Trade, your three latest orders will be displayed as Buy Again options.
We've enhanced the Express Trade experience by adding Top Gainer & Dipper labels to the Asset Selector, displaying the price and 24-hour percentage changes for assets. This allows you to quickly identify the best performing assets and get more context on recent market trends.
We've also introduced Limit Orders on our web app, allowing you to set your own price for the coins you want to buy or sell.
Lastly, we've improved our pricing and liquidity on coins which will make pricing better than ever before.
In June, we launched staking for Cardano (ADA), allowing users to earn up to 3.7% rewards with as little as 1 ADA. We continue to expand our on-chain staking offering which currently stands at 5 tokens; ETH, ADA, SOL, MATIC, DOT. This is the most tokens available to be staked on any Canadian registered crypto-trading platform.
We've enhanced the Accounts screen with Buy and Sell calls-to-action on the header for faster trading. The loading indicators and speeds have been improved, and we've added miniature price charts for each row on the All Assets table on web.
You can now enable push notifications under Settings > Notifications in the mobile app to receive alerts when your orders get filled. We will continue to improve this feature with future updates and allow for more personalization on notifications, including special promotions for users who enable push notifications and a watchlist feature for asset price movements.
We've made several fixes and improvements, including updating the currency formatting on the Staking page, ensuring consistent asset prices across various sections of the app, improving the rendering of price charts, and addressing minor bugs.
